Anastasiia Savenko ("Nastiia") is a founding board member of the ELA Institute, where she helps advance the organization's mission of epilepsy awareness, education, and community support.​ Nastiia currently works as a Content Associate at War on the Rocks, a leading publication on national security and foreign policy, where she handles editorial copyediting, social media, and podcast production. She holds a B.A. in Government from Cornell University, where she graduated with Distinction in All Subjects.

Her commitment to ELA, though, grows out of lived experience rather than any of that. As the caregiver for a loved one living with nocturnal epilepsy, she came to know firsthand the particular weight of night-time seizures. That experience is what moved her to join an organization centered on education, resources, and community for others navigating the same reality.
